Furniture Design & CONCEPTUALIZATION

The Sahara Chair is inspired by the many variants of safari chairs used by explorers and military officers in the early-to-mid 1900's.  In the adventurous spirit of the original Safari Chair, the Sahara Chair can be fully assembled in less than five minutes by one man with no screws or glue.  The material palette is derived from the varying shades of the Sahara Desert.

The Sahara Chair’s edgier, slightly more risqué cousin for 2020 in acrylic, anodized aluminum, & perforated black leather.

The geometric marriage of brass-dipped steel, satin black powdercoated steel, natural oiled mesquite, and natural-tanned leather make for an exquisite mid-century-inspired form and palette.
